My original vertically welted vests can be handknit in a variety of fibers, textures and colors. Shown here,"Black Magic" was knitted from handspun Angora and black wool. All vests come with a barrette closure. The dipped front hemline is flattering but a straight across hemline is also available. Most people prefer a satin back (1/2 the cost and weight under a jacket) but the back can be knitted similar to the front.

I have been experimenting with combining fabric and yarn and "Ruana Tabard" lower on the page shows one possibility. This piece is reversible of course but it can also be used like a ruana or belted to the front or back. Lots of possibilities in its use as well as your choice of fabric, yarn , colors etc.
