Berets

Berets were the first. They have been made almost exclusively with handspun angora with a feather clip yet each one is a little different. I have included a few that are made with angora combined with other yarns. With all the specialty yarns available today, the choices are endless.

Cap Scarf

The Cap Scarf design came next--at first, without the feathers. They are made to wear over the head but when the cap part is dropped down it forms a curved accent of feathers across the back. The "tails" are each 3 feet long or more for a warm wrap and drape. These shown are made from Angora or wool, but anything can be used so it is your choice.

Feather

Feather Hats were originally conceived as beautiful rain hats but the demand has been mostly for their beauty. They also made glamorous "bad hair day" cover-ups. I have made them full length, capped size, flat, or as concentric circles so that the hairdo can come through.

Turbans

Turbans are another style I created with my welted knitting. I have also done them with fabric. There is even a 1940's version.

Cloches

Cloches are my latest design. They have been primarily made of angora and can have a rolled, ruffled or corded edge. They usually come with a clip of feathers.

Cocktail

Cocktail Hats are smaller hats that pin onto the hair for decoration. These can be made of almost any material so you can match something or be as wild as you want.

Bob Caps

For the more casual hat wearer, I have created Bob Caps, which come with removable bands for contrast. These are the ones that keep the walkers warm when they venture out. I have made them from angora, chenille and eyelash. There are matching scarves available as well.

Ski Caps are another sporty design I created for the active set. I have generally made them from wool with an angora trim.

Felted Hats

My very latest design is hats utilizing my hand made FELT, either in the entire hat or as a clip.
